General Information

· For tests administered through December 31, 2005.

· Test will be CLOSED BOOK and last four (4) hours.

Scope

This test is for individuals who fabricate, install, repair, alter, or extend heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems while supervised by an HVAC & R contractor.

Contents

There will be 100 total questions on the test. The approximate distribution of questions by subject will be as shown.


Refrigeration

25 to30%
Heating ­ Gas & Oil Furnace

25 to 30%
Air Conditioning

30 to 35%
Code Compliance

5 to 15%
Hydronics

2 to 5%
